Specialist mixing style: The infamous DJ DEF ROK is the mister versatile of the DJ game, not only is he renowned for his turntable trickery and dexterity when it comes to R&B and Hip Hop club sets but he can also rock a great House set. Renowned as one of Australia’s highest respected and best DJ’s, DJ DefRok’s name continues to appear at every major club Australia wide. DEF ROK means to DEFinetly ROK a crowd and that’s what he does. From the early age of 14 he preferred hanging around record stores than being in class, often having 2 to 3 jobs before and after school to feed his vinyl addiction. Up until 19 it was just a hobby, but when an injury cut short a promising football career he decided to put his massive vinyl collection to good use. So DJ DEF ROK was born. After landing his first gig with Rnb Superclub in 2002, he has been at the forefront of the superclub team and continues to perform at all the Rnb Superclub parties nationwide and from there, never looked back. Following on with mixing several of the superclub CDs, DJ DEF ROK has toured with many major artists and also exclusively performed at after-parties including; Next, Pussycat dolls, BoyzII Men, Kelis, 50 cent, Ice cube, Ja Rule, Black Eyed Peas and many more.
